Well, I’ve just released a new blog to bring up the rear and expand even further my little online empire of websites and blogs.
As I’ve been busy lately creating a lot of niche sites and free blogs, I thought it would be nice to create another Internet Marketing based blog but rather than target the keywords for make money, I’ve switched to “work at home” as although it’s still a tough fought area, it’s not quite as tough as make money.
So the site URL: Work At Home
It’s just had its second post which is what is best described as a pillar article and there will be several of those type of articles filling it up to begin with. Once its got a decent amount of content, I’ll monetize the blog with PPC and afffiliate links and banners to complete it and get it working for me.
Let’s see how well it does!

As far as this Make Money blog is concerned, the Do Follow movement was all the rage a few months ago when make money bloggers went against their blogs hosts or providers and their dictatorial instalment of the blanket “no follow” tag for all comments and duly installed the “do follow” plug-in to counteract this.
It allowed a commenter to have a back-link from each comment he left in a blog with the plug-in. That was great for a while as it helped make money bloggers attract people to comment in their blogs.
That was until Google went on the warpath slapping down blogs for selling links. Then it turned its radar on bloggers who make money writing paid reviews - which it saw as just another way of selling links.
Well, now it’s rumoured that it’s not stopping there. The next wave of make money bloggers that are about to fall under that same radar are those that do follow!
Why?
Because in the eyes of the big G. it is just another way of website and blog owners of gaming the system in order to get backlinks unnaturally and boost their position in the SERPs to make money online.
So the days of the free back-links in comments are soon to be numbered as well. You’ll just have to figure out some more clever ways to fast make money online!

Back to the old problem of time I’m afraid, only this time I’m not going to concern myself with the lack of it that I quite often find myself experiencing, but the ticking clock that is counting down the inevitable lifespan of this blog’s recently acquired page ranking.
I’m resigned to the fact that it is most likely a case of when, not if the proverbial rug gets pulled from under this Make Money blog’s feet.
Why do I say that?
Writing reviews for various sites is a legitimate way of earning a few bob for any blogger, but giving away a link in that review is seen as bad by the big brother of the internet – the big G. I’m not going into the argument here, it’s been aired to death everywhere already. Suffice it to say, it is cause enough for the privileges of rank to be denied to the very blogs that need them to make their few bob.
This is akin to cutting down a weed in your garden by the stem (the blogger), where the actual roots (the buyers of links) are left in the soil to regenerate into a new and even more rampant weed! Ha!
From the ashes the phoenix will most certainly rise to fly again!
So much for the advertisers, black hatters and anyone else who is still trying to game the system. Where does that leave the legitimate and hard working bloggers? As usual, its the little guys who suffer in the game of corporate chess. The pawns are always sacrificed so the major players can manoeuvre themselves into ever stronger corporate positions ready to pounce on their competitors and wipe them of the board.
Looks like I’m in the mood for parable and waxing lyrical today! Ho hum, that’s the bread and butter of the writer, I suppose.
So I await the falling axe with defiance and the fickle finger of fate will be heartily upturned in the direction of the executioner even as the head rolls lifeless to the ground.
The stuff of heroes and heroines methinks!
