If you are a fan of Dyson vacuum cleaners like I am, they have just opened a brand new and dead easy to use parts and accessories section on their website.

Of course the website has all the latest models from their extensive range of upright cleaners, cylinder models as well as those clever hand-held ones that are a real joy to use for smaller clean-ups where the bigger machinery is unnecessary.

But the main reason for me telling you about the site is of course if you find you need some replacement parts for your cleaner. The Dyson website now has a parts and accessories page that is nice and straightforward to use.

It follows simple logic in that you just click the image of your general type of cleaner, ie upright, cylinder or hand-held. You are taken to the next page that has pictures of all the individual models. You then click on the image of your general model. Because most models have several variations, you’re taken to another page so you can select the exact cleaner that you own so there’s no mistake. Then a page opens with all the parts that are available for your exact cleaner. Each part has its own picture so you know exactly what it looks like and the price and a checkout button is displayed underneath.

This system makes ordering whatever new part you need a piece of cake and because you can see what you’re ordering there should be no mistakes. Brilliant!
