Make Money are the main keywords for this blogsite, so it stands to reason that once the search engines start to shower their love on this site, it will rank specifically for “make money“.
So how do you turn that into a solid methodology in order to actually make money with the site?
Well, that’s already been covered in past articles here but a further way of giving these heavily competing keywords some real punch is by using them better. In fact I can’t believe that I’ve actually been very lax just lately in my use of the make money keywords in this very site. That’s just not acceptable so now I’m busy putting that right.
So how do you do that?
Well, it’s not difficult, just time consuming. It means I have to go back over several posts and make a few adjustments to the text in order to add some more “make money” keywords to each. That will increase the keyword density of “make money”, which checking over this site has made me realize they’ve become dreadfully low.
There are other factors that need attention too, like using the make money keywords as anchor text for hyperlinks linking back to this site - like this: Make Money
There are still differing opinions in the SEO community as to what the optimum keyword density should be in any article, ranging from 1% up to as high as 7%. I have generally tended to favour the lower figure as a precaution to not tripping the search engine’s red flag for keyword stuffing. But maybe I should be working towards a median figure of around 4-5%.
This might even be pushing close to the limit, but if you want to make money in this business, you have to take chances, right?
So in the next few days, you should start seeing some minor keyword tweaking going on in here and my guess is that in the next few weeks I should start seeing some improvements in my search engine ranking.
Let’s see…
