Following on from the last post Make Money Community, where I looked at the community aspect of blogging, here I’ll take a slight change in tack and work on building blogs to make money.
This will be a fairly short post by comparison with my previous efforts as I really want to just get the point across and leave the blood and guts of it to a future post.
The point is that by making yourself busy and building a good array of blogs and working them into positions of authority, they will, in the future be important resources for further boosting the authority of websites that you use to make money by providing important keyword anchored links as well as some traffic if they have matured sufficiently to be attracting some of their own.
These blogs can be created free using one of the free blogging platforms like Blogger or Wordpress and their value to you will not be in the money they can make, because that will not be their main job, but the link authority they will provide your money sites. Just one such site I have decided to pick on is a free blogger blog written by Ben Willis on the subject of Internet ads and he gave my Honest Way site a mention in that post, so in true neighbourly fashion I’m throwing him a link back from here. Ben asks the question, “Can you really make money putting Internet ads on your blog?” Well, you can if you get enough organic search traffic visiting your blog. And it doesn’t matter if your blog is a basic no-frills blogger blog with a boring Minima template, or a fancy Wordpress blog with all the bells and whistles. If you don’t get the traffic, it doesn’t matter how many ads you put on there. Get the traffic and you’ll make money online!
Many people turn their noses up at free blogs, simply because they are free, but that is their ultimate strength.
